Nothing screams American rock better the the band Disturbed. This native Chicago band was formed in 1996 and consists of Dan Donegan, David Dramian, John Moyer, and Mike Wengren. Disturbed has put out four albums since their inception. Their music is quite popular, but also quite controversial at times, even going as far as to feature suicidal themes. Out of all the great songs put out by Disturbed few have risen to the top. Here is my list of the top 10 songs by the band Disturbed.

Bonus Tracks – These tracks are ones that I wanted to add to the list, but couldn’t fit in.
Just Stop, Prayer, Fear, Hell, & Deceiver.

10. “The Game” – The second song on their album, The Sickness, “The Game” was the band’s fourth single. This song was released in 2002 and made it to 34 on the mainstream rock charts. “The Game” is a great up beat song to listen to whether you are driving in the car or working out.

9. “Remember” – The the fifth song on the album Believe, “Remember”, was Distubed’s sixth single. It made it as high as 6 on the mainstream rock charts.

8. “Liberate” – Also on the Believe album, this song was the band’s seventh single. It was featured on the game Tony Hawk Underground 2.

5. Land of Confusion” – This song is a cover of the ’86 by Genesis. While the original “Land of Confusion” peaked at number 4 on the hot 100, the Disturbed version topped the mainstream charts. “Land of Confusion” is one of the bands best and the accompanying music video is awesome.

4. “Stupify” – This song is on Disturbed’s first album. This song was written by Dramian about a personal relationship he had to end. This song is really catchy and the lyrics just stick in your head. It is one of my personal favorites.

3. “Stricken” – This song is one of Disturbed’s best to be released to date. It is featured on the third installment of Guitar Hero. “Stricken” is on their Ten Thousand Fists album and features some of the sickest guitar solos you will ever hear.

2. “Down with the Sickness” – This song is probably one of the best known songs by the band. “Down with the Sickness” is featured on their first album, The Sickness. This song features the amazing vocals of David Dramian, the main singer and is an extremely catchy tune. “Down with the Sickness” is by far my favorite song to work out to.

1. “Inside the Fire” – “Inside the Fire” is one of Disturbed’s more controversial songs, featuring suicidal themes. The music video had to be modified as it showed a girl hanging herself. This song is was written by Dramian and is personal to him as he had a girlfriend commit suicide. “Inside the Fire” is on Disturbed’s album, Indestructible.
