When you think of Wisconsin you think of football, football, and more football. You wouldn’t really think of basketball and the talent that has come from the state. You would be surprised to realize that there has actually been a lot of talent that has been home grown there over the years. Here is a list of the top 10 NBA players that were previously born in Wisconsin.

1. Latrell Sprewell- Sprewell may be best known for choking his NBA coach but also had an exceptional career in the NBA. Sprewell played 13 seasons in the NBA from 1993-2005. Sprewell finished his career with averages of 18.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4 assists per game. Sprewell was born in Milwaukee before leaving Wisconsin for a great NBA career.

2. Caron Butler- Butler began his career in the NBA in 2003 after playing college basketball at the University of Connecticut. Butler was born in Racine and has had an impressive NBA career. Butler has career averages of 16.3 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists per game.
