Tokyo Marui – Sig Sauer P226

This gun is excellent, I’ve had it for ages now and still works great. It is fully metal with internal upgrades. An upgraded piston head, with an 6.01mm inner barrel and a high-flow valve. The inner barrel is custom at 7 inches which is not stock for the TM P226. The longer barrel in theory should make the gun more accurate and powerful. Since it is a tight bore 6.01mm barrel.

This is my p226 with a holster and custom Hogue grips. I had to modify them so they will fit onto the gun by grinding off the excess rubber and plastic. The gun is fully metal by Guarder Enhanced. It is the X-five series hence the beaver tail and the longer length. I bought it with just the metal frame at Redwolf Airsoft. The rest of the photos will show all the other upgrades I bought for the gun.I have installed the Nine-ball Neo High flow valve.

My Nine Ball outer barrel Seals type. The inner barrel is an aftermarket part for the Marui Hi-Capa 5.1. Since the X-five series has a longer overall length I was able to stuff this inner barrel inside, although it was a tight fit. The inner barrel is 6.01mm at a length of seven inches. I have heard of people custom making the barrel from an AEG to fit into a gas blowback handgun.

Here is another angle.

As you can see inside the loading muzzle there is a shiny object. That object is the Action cylinder bulb and what you can’t see inside is the PDI winter piston head. The lower receiver of the Sig Sauer has the aftermarket Guarder metal kit. I bought the X-five series as you can see with the beaver tail. I decided to get the X-five since it had the beaver tail because I have shot the real steal Sig Sauer P226 and Colt 1911. I just loved the feel of the 1911 in my hands and when I found out that Red wolf Airsoft was selling the beaver tail version of the P226 I was so happy.

This is the Guarder Enhanced 150% recoil spring. I am debating whether I should also buy the 160% recoil spring. The gun appears as if it is blued even though it is not. I assume it is the caused by the lighting of the camera. And finally…

Here is the gun full view with a G&P; Mk23 mock silencer. The gun has not been chronographed yet and I believe this gun has well over 400 fps. Since the other modded guns shot around 350 fps and did not have as many upgrades as this one, so I am merely estimating. I did some basic distance shooting and this gun can shoot accurately around 80 feet. I was shooting a piece of paper with 0.2 g BB’s and if I had better shot I am sure I could have made a decent grouping but I don’t. Still I was able to hit the paper without missing despite the fact there was wind, it was not strong but it was there.
