Each year I like to travel to towns that are not far from my area and visit some of the places that offer summer day camp programs. I recently came across a large amount of summer camps in Princeton New Jersey. I checked them out and to my surprise they have quite a few really nice day camps. Here is a list of some of my top summer camp in Princeton New Jersey.
The first one on my list is My Gym Children’s Fitness Center. They are located at 3885 Route 27, Princeton New Jersey. Their telephone number is 732-422-3600. Their summer programs are for those children between the ages of 2 ½ years old and 9 years old. They offer arts and crafts, gymnastics, and sports activities. The one thing that I really like is that they offer discounts for those with multiple children. As you know having more than one child in day camp can get to be pretty expensive so it is always great when you can get a discount. They also have special events throughout the summer. For more information you can contact them at the number above. I also wanted to point out that this is a very nice facility and the staff was great. My next pick is the Princeton Friends Summer Camp. They are located at 470 Quaker Road. Their telephone number is 609-683-1194 ext. 50. They also have a website which is www.princetonfriendsschool.org. They have a very nice facility, and they offer programs for children four through thirteen years of age. The price is pretty reasonable also and ranges from $200 -$300/wk. They offer both indoor and outdoor activities, performing arts programs, science and nature programs, sports, swimming, and field trips. You definitely get what you pay for with this summer camp. Next on the list is the Princeton Day School Summer Program. They are located at 650 The Great Road, and their telephone number is 609-924-6700 ext.1340. They offer summer programs for children between the age of three and eighteen years of age. This means that if you have more than one child within this age group then you can send them both to the same place. They offer a lot of activities including academic activities. A special feature of this summer program is that they have both day and special overnight adventures. So when you call them to request additional information make sure that you ask for a list of all of the activities that they currently offer.
These are just a few of the many day camps that I visited in Princeton New Jersey. The other day camps are still in the process of putting the final touches on their summer programs. However I am sure that by the time you read this article they will have everything complete and be ready to give out their information.
