I love living in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The city is bursting with life and vitality, and there is a new surprise on every corner. But sometimes the sheer size of the city is enough to stress me out. Add to that to the daily stresses of city life and it is no wonder that I often find myself in need of pampering at a local spa.
If you live in Minneapolis, chances are, there are times when you would love nothing more than to get away to a local spa. The harried life of the city and the surrounding suburbs can be exciting, but sometimes it is best to get away from all the noise and rushing around so that you can pamper yourself at a peaceful Minneapolis spa. Fortunately, there are many great Minneapolis spas that you can visit and renew yourself. 5 of my favorite Minneapolis spas are described below. I have found that each local spa in this list provides a little slice of heaven in the huge pie that is the city of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

A favorite makeover here is the “Oprah Makeover” which was actually featured on the Oprah Winfrey show. Other great services include ear candling, aromatic body wraps, and a specialized wig service for patients of Chemotherapy, Alopecia and Trichotillomania.

Exclusive promotions and extensive packages make this one of the most affordable Minneapolis spas around. The Swedish and hot stone massages here are especially soothing.

This local spa on Hennepin Avenue provides a lot of great services, but the best among these are definitely the body scrubs and wraps. Unique body scrubs and wraps offered at this Minneapolis spa include the Vinotherapy wine wrap, Spirulina wrap, Moor mud wrap, Chamomile Body scrub, sugar scrub and my personal favorite, the chocolate scrub.
