The Mirage’s Tower Suites Are a Great Las Vegas Bargain

Ice Makers, Travel Blog

If you want to enjoy a bit of the blinged out Las Vegas experience for a reasonable price, I think the MIrage’s Tower Suites at $210 per night (Sunday-Thursday) are a great bargain. We’ve stayed there a few times and continue to experience great service, while really enjoying the large size of the suites.

The suites are vast, and feel very spacious, more like an apartment than a hotel room. With 1200+ square feet, there’s a lot of room, with a large foyer, bar area, living room area, dining area, large separate bedroom, huge walk-in closet and a bathroom the size of many regular hotel rooms. The bathroom featured an enormous hydrotherapy spa tub that was a lot of fun.

We got three big LCD TVs throughout the suite, including a 52″ in the living room, a 42″ in the bedroom and even a 32″ TV in the bathroom. There’s a wet bar and a nice big dining room table. The living area features a large, luxurious couch, with that big flat screen TV, along with amazing views of the Strip through the floor to ceiling windows. The suites are on the top floors of The Mirage, the 26th, 27th and 28th and all have commanding views of the Strip and city beyond.

The suite has several refrigerators (with ice-makers), a DVD player and iPod-compatible sound system. We really liked the fancy high-thread-count sheets and the special mattress made just for the Mirage too. It was all very luxurious and comfortable. We enjoyed spending a lot of time in the room and had several great room service meals in our own little dining room as well.

A great benefit of staying in one of the suites is the use of “Invited Guest” check-in, which means you bypass the big lines in the lobby and check-in in the VIP area, usually with champagne and snacks. Suite guests also get line passes for all the buffets and priority seating for the shows, including the LOVE Beatles show. Suite guests also get priority seating in all Mirage restaurants. The price jumps from $210 per night to $699 per night on weekends and holidays, so I suggest a mid-week visit.

The Mirage property is a fun place to stay and features some great restaurants and clubs. We also really like the central location, the hotel is in the center of the Strip and you can easily walk to the Caesar’s Forum Shops mall and the Venetian mall across the street for more shopping and dining. We’ve stayed at most of the major hotels along the Strip and have consistently found the Mirage to offer a great combination of luxury, convenience and value.
