Lord O T Rings

This website is made by and for Lord of the Rings fanatics. This site includes complete Tolkien information, research and background, a virtual middle earth community, and a merchandise shop. The community which is called Fanatics Plaza is totally awesome. In the Fanatics forum you will meet other fanatics and discuss a variety of topics like, books, writers, and movies. You have to be a member to participate. In the Lord of the Rings Halls of Knowledge, you can test your knowledge in the different halls in the plaza. You can earn points that will help you upgrade your rank fairly quickly. In the kingdoms of Middle earth, the fanatics are grouped in various kingdoms that represent the many characters, and power on Middle-earth. Each kingdom has it’s own web page and forum. Some of the kingdoms are Rivendell, the elves of Rivendell, Minas Tirith, the men of Gondor, and the Shire, the hobbits of the shire. Another part of the fanatics site is the Lord of the Rings Plaza House. In the Plaza house, members of high rank can start a plaza house and invite members to join it. These are mini-kingdoms that are operated by the household members. Each house can be customized by the members, and has it’s own forum.

There is also a web directory of all the websites about Lord of the Rings. The plaza members maintain it, and the administrators judge the websites. The Battle Arena is a place where you can battle in real time in advanced Dungeons and Dragons style. Supporting memberships is all about how you can help the future
of the plaza as well as Middle-earth on the Internet. Last but not least, there is a Lord of the Rings newsletter, where you can find out all the happenings in the plaza and the kingdoms. You can submit articles and stories to the editors.

This website has a book list, games, articles, information about Tolkien, news, contests, forum and chat. There’s a fun feature on the site, where you type in your full name in the Middle-earth name generator, and you get your Elvish, dwarven, etc. name. Another thing you can do on the site, is look up whatever you want to know about the Lord of the Rings, in the encyclopedia. You can even print them out. This is a very fun and interesting site.
