The FujiFilm FinePix A500 Camera Reviewed

Finepix, Fujifilm

Are you interested in buying a digital camera? If so, do you know what type of cameras comes highly rated and recommended? Although it is sometimes difficult to read reviews on particular product, especially since so many people have different views and beliefs, but it is important that you do. Reading what other customers have to say is one of the best ways to not only find quality products, but affordable ones. That is why I have decided to do a review on the FujiFilm FinePix A500, my new digital camera.

Above it was mentioned that the FujiFilm FinePix A500 was my new camera, I have had it for a couple of months. Before that time, I had a FujiFilm FinePix A330. Unfortunately, I dropped it down the stairs and I did not have a warranty on the camera. Despite being dropped, the camera still worked, expect for the zoom in button; however, it was relatively easy to reset whenever I wanted to use it. Although that may not seem important, it was one of the reasons why I choose to stay with FujiFilm. I know it sounds silly, but I was just so impressed that the camera still worked after making its way down a flight and a half of stairs.

One of the other reasons why I choose the FujiFilm FinePix A500 for my next camera was because of the price. Unfortunately, you will find that digital cameras are expensive. I have always been told that a quality camera should cost no less than two hundred dollars. However, I have to say that I believe that I found one of the exceptions. My FujiFilm FinePix A500 was purchased, from Best Buy, for around $129. Of course, I also spent the extra money for the warranty. No matter what type of camera you plan on purchasing, I suggest, from personal experience, that you do the same.

Once I purchased the camera, I couldn’t wait to take it out of the box. Then, I couldn’t wait to take my first picture and today that same excitement is still with me. One of the reasons why I would recommend the FujiFilm FinePix A500 digital camera is because it is easy to use. The LCD screen size is a 1.8 inch, which is a little bit larger than most other digital cameras. The buttons are also easy to use; in fact, they are so easy to use that just about anyone can learn to use the camera, in a matter of minutes. This includes children, as well as the elderly.

Of course, it is also important to concentrate on the additional features. The FujiFilm FinePix A500 is a 5.1 Mega Pixel camera. It has an internal memory of 12MB; however, low-cost memory cards can be purchased, often for only around twenty dollars. The total zoom for the camera is 15.6, which includes 3x optical and 5.2x digital. This is important because I was told that digital cameras, especially if they will be used to create larger sized pictures, need to have both a digital zoom and an optical zoon. With the exception of a few digital cameras, it is hard to find this combination in cameras under $150.

You will also find that all FujiFilm digital cameras, including the FinePix A500 are able to connect to most computers. This means that you can easily print off you own professional-like pictures, right at home. Also, depending on the type of compact photo printer you have, you will find that most FujiFilm cameras are compatible with them, as well. I am pleased with my decision to purchase a FujiFilm FinePix A500 camera and you may be as well. As previously mentioned, I purchased by digital camera from Best Buy, but the FujiFilm FinePix A500 is also available at a number of other retailers, nationwide.
