The Best and Worst Choices of Hardee’s Breakfast Menu

Breakfast Menu, hardee's

Fast food restaurant Hardee’s offers a large variety of breakfast items that are convenient and tasty. Many of these items, however, pack a punch that you certainly wouldn’t want to start your day off with- a punch that contains tons of calories and fat. There are healthier options, but they are few and far between, as most everything on the Hardee’s breakfast menu (single items, people) contain an excess of 550 calories and a ton of fat. Here, see what you definitely shouldn’t order- and what might be a better idea.

Worst Choices

1. Big Country Breakfast Platter

Available in ham, bacon, sausage, chicken, pork chop and country beef steak varieties, this platter contains upwards of 1000 calories each, some more. Fat content ranges from 53- 68 grams, respectively. This does not include condiments such as maple syrup or butter, which can add hundreds of calories to each meal as well. I say no thanks!

2. Loaded Breakfast Burrito

This is a convenient and condensed way to enjoy breakfast, but it’s also got 780 calories and 51 grams of fat. Truly a nutritional death trap, you might want to consider making a better choice.

3. Country Steak or Pork Chop and Egg Biscuit

With 690 calories and 47 grams of fat each, these are losers no matter what way you look at them. Their fattening meat additions make for a saturated fat and cholesterol ‘fest, too.

4. Loaded Biscuit and Gravy Breakfast Bowl

The name alone sounds like it would clog your arteries in no time. With 770 calories and 54 grams of fat, there’s not doubt it would.

5. Monster Biscuit

I’m not exactly sure what’s on this menu item, but at 710 calories and 51 grams of fat, I’m not sure I want to. Pure lard? A stick of butter? Hmmm?

4. Frisco Breakfast Sandwich

A delicious combination of classic breakfast foods sandwiched inside lightly grilled toast, the Frisco is both delicious and efficient. It’s not necessarily a nutrition hot house, as it’s a bit high in fat, but it’s better than the alternative. 420 calories, 20 grams of fat.
