Tarte MultiplEYE Lash Enhancer

Blue Eyes, Enhancer, Long Lashes, Tarte

I love to have fantastic lashes, after all what woman doesn’t? I have tried and tossed many a mascara and I am now a self confessed maven of which ones rock out lashes the best. I have befriended every type of fake lash with the glue that goes along with them for some time now. But I wanted more….for less work. So I had been tango-ing with the idea of purchased one the many “lash enhancers” that are out on the market for some time.

In the beginning there were issues with them. I had read rumors that they would turn blue eyes brown. I have blue eyes and that thought horrified me. To read that women with blue eyes were reporting after use of a lash enhancer they were finding brown specks in their blue eyes?! No thanks, not for me, I stuck it out with the mascara and fakies when I felt like applying the time…and the glue.

Time passed and I continued to read the reviews, keeping my fingers crossed that as the products became more popular, and eye color friendly, that the cost of them would drop. I wasn’t too keen on kicking out well over a hundred dollars on something that wasn’t going to work. Than I found Tarte MultiplEYE Lash Enhancer. The reviews I read were for the most part fantastic and the price was right at $65. I went for it.

The product arrived and I whipped it out. I had to get to work, immediately. Lush and long lashes coming my way! Tarte MultiplEYE Lash Enhancer comes neatly package in a navy blue tube with a kick butt graphic on the clear in color applicator wand of a gorgeous eye, with some gorgeous lashes.

Upon unscrewing the wand I was presented with a little brush, much like liquid eyeliner would have, that held a clear liquid. I applied it, like one would apply liquid eyeliner, along the eyelash line, focusing more on the outer edges, were I really wanted the oomph! I also stroked the brush along the lashes themselves. Done.

I repeated this process for the next two weeks, which brings me up to today. The results are excellent so far and I am super impressed! While it claims four to six weeks for thicker lashes, I certainly saw a difference in length within the first week. My lashes are no doubt longer than when I first started, it’s kind of amazing. As I rolled through the second week I began seeing a difference in the thickness. Yay! This was exactly what I wanted and I’m so very happy to see them magically plumping up seemingly overnight. Four out of four stars across the board in only two weeks!

I’ve also noticed they seem darker, I have black brown hair, and I never felt my lashes weren’t dark until seeing this, so I’m assumed it’s just the length that’s making them appear that way. I’ll have to monitor that and report back after I roll into weeks three and four. But come on, the look so lush already I couldn’t ask for more!

I know a few of the reviews that I read complained it was stinging and/or burning their eyes. I had this problem once, when I applied it after exiting the shower and not drying my lashes well, even then it only stung momentarily, as if I had a little bit of soap in my eyes. On dry lashes, following the directions through, I have not had the problem at all.

While I’m still wearing mascara, my eyes look fierce with it on now, I’m doing one quick and light coat and poof – perfecto. Personally I can’t think of anything I would improve on so far with the product, except making it more affordable. I’m also interested in seeing and reporting back on the long term effects, and just how plump and long can one make their own lashes?

I plan to do a second review in the fourth week, summarizing up the results for one months usage of Tarte MultiplEYE Lash Enhancer. But as of right now, with the incredible results I’ve seen already, I highly recommend the product to anyone that’s interested in enhancing their lashes.
