The summer is here and everyone gets addicted to the well known beverage, Iced Tea. But why don’t you kick it up a notch and put some spice in your summer and try some of the following Iced Tea mixes.
1. Chai Naya
Mix 2 cups of vodka and 6 teaspoons of loose black tea into a jar and shake a couple of times to combine. Place in a cool, dark place to sit for about 24 hours and then strain the tea leaves by pouring through a strainer into a second jar. Store in the freezer and make sure that you serve it ice cold.
2. Southern Kick
Mix ½ oz. whisky and ½ oz. of Southern Comfort in a glass and top it off with iced tea, and serve it over ice.
3. Carolina Iced Tea
Mix 1 ½ oz. of Southern Comfort peach flavored liqueur, 1 oz. Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, 1 oz. Peach Schnapps, ½ oz. vodka, and 5 oz. of sweet iced tea and pour over ice and add a splash of lemon for a twist.
4. Nuclear Ice Tea
Mix ½ oz of vodka, ½ oz of gin, ½ oz of rum, ½ oz of triple sec, 1 oz melon liqueur, and sweet and sour mix and pour it all in a glass filled with ice and top it off with 7-up.
5. Bitter Tea
Mix 2 oz of Campari Bitters, 2 oz of Pomegranate Juice, 8 oz of Passion Tea and 1 teaspoon of sugar… this will knock your socks off!
6. Green Tee This
Pour 1 oz of vodka into a glass with ice and add 2 oz of Zen’s Green Tea Liqueur fill glass with green tea and stir.
7. Irish Tea
Make 8 oz of any type of tea and add 2 teaspoons of sugar with 2 oz of Bailey’s Irish Cream.
8. Dixieland Tea
Mix 2oz of whiskey with ½ oz of Amaretto and fill with iced tea. Stir, garnish with a lemon wedge and enjoy!
9. Long Beach Iced Tea
Mix 1 oz of Triple Sec, ½ oz of Rum, ½ oz. of Vodka, ½ oz of Gin and add to a glass of cranberry juice and ice. Don’t forget to add a splash of 7-up as well as a fresh cut of lime.
10. Texas T
Here is a drink you need to make by the gallon! Get a ½ gallon of sweet tea and add 1/3 of a bottle of Gold tequila, shake it up and pour it out into glasses.
11. VooDoo Tea
Fill a glass with ice and add 1 shot of white rum, and ½ shot of Blue Curacao and fill with sweetened tea, stir until it turns black or a darkish color and enjoy!
12. Black Iced Tea
Mix up ¾ oz of orange juice, ¾ oz of Triple Sec, ¾ oz of brandy, ¾ oz of black rum, and ½ of a lime juiced. Pour this over crushed ice in a tall glass and top with Coca-Cola Classic.
13. Iced Crème De Menthe Tea
Pour 1 ½ cups of cold mint flavored herb tea over ice cubes and stir in ¼ cup crème de menthe top with ½ cup heavy whipped cream and garnish with fresh mint sprigs.
14. Booga Booga
Mix ½ oz of vodka, ½ oz of orange juice, ½ oz of apple cider, and ½ oz of Snapple’s Raspberry Iced Tea soda, pour into a glass with ice cubes and stir well.
15. Mahwah Iced Tea
Pour ½ a shot of Bourbon and ½ shot of Southern Comfort into your glass and top with iced tea of your choice, add ice cubes and stir.
16. Stinky Finger Iced Tea
1.25 oz of Jack Daniels, 1.25 oz of Jim Beam, 1.25 oz of Captain Morgan Rum, and 2 oz of sweet and sour all mixed together and poured over ice.
17. Electric Iced Tea
Mix half oz of vodka, half oz of Gin, half oz of light rum, half oz tequila, half oz of triple sec and half oz of Blue Curacao together in a shaker and pour over ice. Ten top with cola and garnish with a lemon wedge and enjoy!
18. Radioactive Long Island Iced Tea
Mix 1 oz of Gin, 1 oz of Melon Liqueur, 1 oz of Rum, 1 oz of Coconut Rum, 1 oz of Tequila, 1 oz of Triple Sec, 1 oz of Vodka, and 1 oz of Chambord, pour into a glass over ice and hold on!
19. Victoria Parade
Combine 4 oz of Iced Tea, ½ oz of lemon juice, 1 ½ oz of light rum, 1 teaspoon of sugar syrup, 1 oz of Southern Comfort, pour into a glass of ice cubes and top with club soda.
20. Elberon Iced Tea
Pour 4 oz of vodka over ice and add 1 oz of lime juice then fill the remainder of the glass with any kind of Snapple…enjoy!
21. Binghampton Iced Tea
Hang on for this one…you want to mix ½ oz of Captain Morgan’s Parrot Bay Rum, ½ oz Stolichnaya Vanil Vodka, ½ oz Bombay Sapphire Gin, ½ oz of Jose Cuervo Tequila, and ¼ oz of Malibu Rum. Add this mixture to a glass with ice and top with Coca-Cola.
22. Tijuana Iced Tea
Pour 1 oz of Coffee Liqueur over ice, add 2 oz of Tequila and 4 oz of club soda and enjoy!
23. And of course last but certainly not least, we have the Tropical Iced Tea, which is one of my personal favorites. You want to mix ½ oz of vodka, ½ oz of rum, ½ oz of gin, ½ ox of triple sec, 1 oz of sour mix, 1 oz of pineapple juice, 1 oz of cranberry juice, and ½ oz of grenadine. Pour over ice and garnish with seasonal fruits.
