Suave for Kids 2-in-1 Shampoo, Dragon Fruit: Review

Dragon Fruit

I am always on the hunt for yummy scented products. Whether it be perfume, lotion, shampoo or soap. My greedy body wants to try it.

The main problem I have when it comes to shopping for shampoo and conditioners is that they every company sells products with very similar scents. I mean how many apple shampoos can one possibly go through before they are just sick of smelling apples? Or coconut… or pears?

Although some companies do better at creating a more likable scent, in reality most are all the same.

I grew fond of kid shampoos about a year ago. I never paid much mind to them, but when I saw scents such as cherry, mango, grape, and dragonfruit…I had to take a dip, and see how well they worked.

I have never been much of a Suave person. I never got spectacular results when it came to their products; but because they are cheap, I will take a shower with Suave every now and then.

Suave for Kids 2-in-1 Shampoo, Dragon Fruit was not one of the first 2 in 1’s I have ever used by Suave for Kids…but ever since using it many moons ago, I have come to purchase it a few times since. I’ve been pleased with it, and here is why.

The Scent:

Dragonfruit is a fruit I myself have never ever tried. I didn’t even know such a thing existed until just this year. When I saw that this product had a scent called Dragnfruit, I was more then excited to give it a tester sniff.

I clicked open the cap and took a whiff.

Suave for Kids 2-in-1 Shampoo, Dragon Fruit smelled like a meadow of fruit, fresh and delicious juicy fruit. I was smelling pears, apples, cherries, banana’s, and tropical fruits I had never smelled before. No wonder they call it Dragonfruit. The scent it pretty indescribable. The only way to put it would be, fruity. Very, very fruity.

But It’s a 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner!

Tell me about it.

I hate 2 in 1’s as well. They never condition my hair enough, so I have to always use my normal conditioner after using the 2 in 1. Suave for Kids 2-in-1 Shampoo, Dragon Fruit is no different. It does leave hair feeling dry after you rinse out. Using your normal conditioner fixes the issue though. Best though is how the Dragonfruit scent still lingers even after being drenched in other scented conditioner.

Results:

Suave for Kids 2-in-1 Shampoo, Dragon Fruit (when combined with a normal conditioner) works wonders. My hair is left silky, and the scent sticks with me for the day.

When used alone though, Suave for Kids 2-in-1 Shampoo, Dragon Fruit is not as wonderful. My hair was left dry, knotty, and feeling a wee bit narsty. I don’t recommend using this alone.

Overall:

Even though Suave for Kids 2-in-1 Shampoo, Dragon Fruit has a negative, it is still one of my favorites. I love the childlike fruity scent, and I love how that scent lingers. For me Suave for Kids 2-in-1 Shampoo, Dragon Fruit is a winner.

Children will love it, and some adults will find an attraction to it as well.

Pricing and packaging:

Suave for Kids 2-in-1 Shampoo, Dragon Fruit comes in an easy to squeeze plastic bottle. The bottle itself is yellow, with a blue click up cap. There is a cute cartoon drawing of a seahorse on the cover.

I pick up Suave for Kids 2-in-1 Shampoo, Dragon Fruit in any local superstore. Prices remain the same at around $3.00 for a 12 ounce bottle.
