Are you planning a SpongeBob Squarepants themed party for your child? If so, you may want to take a quick look at my SpongeBob themed party favor suggestions. Here they are:
SpongeBob Edibles
It is no secret that party guests enjoy edible treats. With that said, why not hand out SpongeBob party favors that will please the palate? You may opt to purchase ready-made SpongeBob treats or make your own. There are a handful of companies that sell SpongeBob themed candy molds. I should mention, however, that the SpongeBob candy molds can be hard to find and prices do vary. Therefore, if you do decide to make your own SpongeBob candies, you’ll want to start searching for the molds as soon as possible.
Based on my experience, SpongeBob candy molds primarily come in three varieties. There are molds to make SpongeBob lollipops, solid SpongeBob candies and SpongeBob chocolate bars. Most of the SpongeBob solid candy molds that I have run across contain the forms needed to create SpongeBob, Patrick, SquidWard and Sandy all on one sheet of plastic. They tend to sell for $5 or less apiece.
If you can’t find the SpongeBob candy molds in your area, you may want to go with SpongeBob cookie cutters. They tend to be easier to find through party supply shops and sell for $4 a set. Last but not least, you could always go with ready-made SpongeBob candies. A case of SpongeBob Squarepants Gummy Krabby Patties Mix is often available through party supply shops for $10 (60 packs per case).
If your child’s birthday falls within the school year, you may want to fill a loot bag with SpongeBob school supplies. Items to consider are SpongeBob Backpack Clips , SpongeBob Scratch-n-Sniff Stickers, SpongeBob Crayons, notepads and pencils. A case of each one may typically be purchased through school supply shops and major party supply shops for $5 or less.
SpongeBob Toys and Games
Believe it or not, there are quite a few SpongeBob toys and games available through party and carnival supply shops. Most are often fairly inexpensive too. Items to consider are SpongeBob Kaleidoscopes, SpongeBob Beanie Babies, SpongeBob Playing Cards, SpongeBob Flying Discs and SpongeBob Checkers Sets.
SpongeBob Bubbles
SpongeBob Bubbles also make excellent party favors. There are several types of SpongeBob Bubbles available for purchase through party supply shops. One type of SpongeBob Bubbles features a bubbles bottle that is shaped to look like SpongeBob’s body. It tends to sell for $5 a case. There are also SpongeBob Bubbles that are designed to be a necklace. They don’t have as much detail as the other bubbles bottles and tend to be less expensive.
