Each year I like to take a look at the current day camp programs available and create a top day camp list. Since day camps really do change from year to year it is always good to look around before you sign your child up. Following is this years top five list for Edison New Jersey.

Another great camp is held at the Edison YMCA. They are located at 1775 Oak Tree Road in Edison. The camp location however is on Inman Avenue in North Edison. This particular camp is actually an outdoor camp, which includes a skate park, tennis courts, a volleyball court, basketball courts, a baseball field, a playground, and a six lane swimming pool with slide. For those who don’t know how to swim they do provide instructions. although they will make all of those who want to swim go through some type of refresher course. For 2007 camp will be for a total of ten weeks and will begin on June 25, 2007 and end on August 31, 2007 just in time for school. The camp hours are 9:00am to 4:00pm. Half days are also available for the younger kids, and they offer extended care. If you are interested in registering your child the registration date for new campers begins on March 1, 2007, and according to their website there is an open house on April 14, 2007 at eh Edison Branch YMCA. My next pick is a bit more on the pricy side but it really is a great experience for your children. This is a performing arts program held at the Digimax performing arts studio.
