Review: Wet ‘˜n’ Wild Tinted Moisturizer

Sunkissed, Tinted Moisturizer

After hearing so many good things about this drugstore tinted moisturizer, I decided to check it out. It turns out that there was a buy one get one free sale at my local drugstore. This product is already fairly cheap, usually only $4 at a drugstore. With the buy one get one free sale, it was only $2! Amazing, right? So I got two colors, one in natural, and one in sunkissed to try out different colors.

The tinted moisturizer comes in a small squeeze container. I think that the cap is a little hard to match up to the actual moisturizer container sometimes when I try to close the container in a hurry, but overall it’s fine. The product is a little difficult to squeeze out because the plastic is rather stiff, but it’s not such a big problem that interferes with use.

The tinted moisturizer looks like a foundation, but when you rub it onto your face, it gives you very sheer coverage. If you’re looking for something with more coverage, this is not it. But because it is sheer, it does blend very well into your skin tone.

I love that the texture of the tinted moisturizer. It’s really smooth and blends in easily. It feels great on your face. Though the tinted moisturizer has SPF 15, it really does not smell like sunscreen like a lot of other tinted moisturizers do.

This tinted moisturizer evens out skin tone very nicely and gives you a nice airbrushed look without feeling heavy on your skin. If you are someone who does not have a lot of blemishes, and only wants something light to cover up minor blemishes and even your complexion, I urge you to try this product. It really is a great product at a great price.

One thing, however, I must caution you about. I mentioned above that I got natural and sunkissed. Natural works wonderfully. It is a very neutral sort of shade. Sunkissed seems to be the same color, but turns up oranger on my face. If you are deciding between natural and sunkissed, try natural, even if you may have a little darker skin. It blended perfectly with my skin tone, even though I did get tanner during the summer, and am a few shades darker than the tinted moisturizer itself.
