If you are looking for a digital camera and are not sure what kind or type to get because you do not know a lot about specific features and do not want to get something that is overly complicated to use, then the Samsung digital camera S630 or S730 is a great option for you.
First off in case you were wondering, I refer to either the S630 or S730 because this model number simply refers to the color of the camera. The S630 is a black camera and the S730 is a silver camera.
In my case, I have the Samsung S630 or black camera, but the features of this camera are the same as the features of the Samsung S730 silver camera model. So should you decide to invest in this Samsung digital camera you can rest assured that the features and aspects I describe about my S630 model will be universal with the S730 model.
PROS To begin, the best and most important feature of the Samsung digital S630 camera is its extra large display window. With a 2.5″ color LCD display window it is very easy to see and zoom in up close to view pictures. The second best feature of this Samsung digital S630 camera is its clear crisp picture taking, especially when zooming in to view a picture. Unlike some cameras that tend to distort and make pictures blurry when zooming in too far, this 6.0 mega pixel camera does not do that. It keeps the picture extremely clear and crisp no matter how close you zoom in.
Another pro about the Samsung S630 digital camera is its very affordable price. I bought my Samsung S630 digital camera for $89.00 during a Wal-Mart door-buster deal. Yet even without the sale price, this camera typically sells somewhere in the range of $90 on up to $120 at regular retail price. All in all, this Samsung digital camera is a very affordable option.
CONS However like many products, this Samsung S630 digital camera also has its cons. In particular one feature distinctly stands out, poor battery life. This camera goes through batteries like there is no tomorrow. I have tried all different brands of batteries, from Duracell to Panasonic to Rayovac to even Kodak rechargeable batteries that are specially designed for use in digital cameras. Yet none of these batteries have worked better than the others. So in my opinion and from personal experience, if you are planning on taking a lot of pictures and using your camera often, I would not recommend this Samsung S630 digital camera because you will constantly have to change and replace the batteries.

Overall Rating: 4 out of 5 stars For me personally, this Samsung Digital Camera S630 was somewhat hard to rate. Based on its features and my experience using this camera, I wanted to rate it higher. However because of its poor battery life I had to rate it lower. Therefore I decided that 4 stars out of a possible 5 was sufficient in rating this camera. Yet if you can handle changing batteries or do not plan on using this camera too much to wear out the batteries quickly, then based on its ease to use, great picture taking, and reasonable pricing, I highly recommend this Samsung digital camera. This camera is definitely worth your money!
