Review of the Schick Intuition Razor

Electric Razor, Schick Intuition, Smooth Legs

If you dislike shaving your legs and avoid it as long as you can, get ready for an easy shave. I have found the perfect razor. The Schick Intuition razor made me want to shave my legs again. Honestly, I don’t think anyone wants to take time out of their day to shave their legs but the Schick intuition razor made it convenient and easy to shave my legs.

Schick Intuition Razor – Pros

I hate shaving my legs and I have to be honest, I used to overlook shaving my legs for a while because it was such a hassle. I was given the Schick intuition razor as a gift and the first time I used it, I was hooked and knew I could really shave my legs again. The Schick intuition razor looks like a little bar of soap with a razor in the middle. I was impressed at how smoothly the razor glided over my skin. I was also impressed at how well the soap lathered up. My legs feel extremely smooth every time I shave and I now shave about every other day with the Schick intuition razor. I used to have to buy the expensive razors and shaving cream keep my skin from being irritated, not anymore. The lather is gently and keeps my skin feeling soft and smooth. I love that the razor has a little holder with suction cups to mount it to the shower wall. No more razors laying around and no more shaving can rust rings to clean up.

Schick Intuition Razor – Cons

I was lucky to receive my Schick intuition razor for free, otherwise I probably would have never tried it. Although I love the Schick institution razor, in my opinion it is pricey (but worth it for me). The start up unit costs about $10 and the replacement cartridges are about $10.50 for 3. Break it down and if each cartridge lasts 3 shaves (they do me), it will cost about $1.16 per shave. I think I used to spend about 50 cents per shave with disposables, so the Schick intuition is more that double (again worth it to me). I have read Schick intuition reviews on line that say the shaving unit is bulky, it is bigger than a disposable but the size for me is comfortable and similar to my old electric razor. The size may take some getting used to but once you get used to it, I think you will prefer it. I have also read that the lather bar does not last long, 3 shaves is what I average which I think Schick could improve on but again, to me it is worth the extra cost.

Who Will Love the Schick Intuition Razor?

If you hate shaving as much as I do and sometimes even skip shaving and wear pants, you will love the Schick intuition razor. The Schick intuition razor cuts shaving time in half and the razor and lather are all one piece, just shave and go. The Schick intuition razor is a bit more costly than your average disposable razors but by using coupons and watching sales, you can easily cut down the costs, either way it is still worth it.

Just to mention, I did not list nicks in pros or cons because when I use the Schick intuition razor I get the same amount of nicks (usually one) as I do any other razor.
