Review: Dermasil Dry Skin Treatment

Cracked Skin, Inositol

I couldn’t believe my luck when I found Dermasil Dry Skin Treatment Original Lotion in the Dollar Tree store. The bottle is 8 fluid ounces (1/2 pint. 237 ml), and only cost me $1.

The bottle is white plastic and has a flip top lid to it. It states on the front that it is ‘Dermasil Labs’, and below says ‘Pharmaceutical Research’. Below that it states ‘Controls even severe dry skin, skin lipid & EFA treatment, and Hypo-Allergenic.

I figured with all this going for it, I had a ‘win, win’, situation. The bottle is one of the flat shaped, but round edged kind. It holds easily in one hand.

The flip up top is easy to open, and the hole at the top is large enough to get a quarter inch wide ribbon of cream.

The first thing I fell in love with is the fragrance. It is subtle, clean, almost baby like, but feminine.

It takes several squeezes to get the first ribbon of cream out. The cream is pure white, and thick. It felt really cool on my arms, and rubbed in straight away. There was no greasy feeling left on my arms, but a feeling of softness, and moisture.

Len has the driest elbows I know. He never thinks to put moisturizer on them, so now before he goes to bed I grab him, and apply the Dermasil dry skin treatment, to them. I have been doing this for a couple of weeks now. I have to say that they are still a little scaly, but not alligator elbows anymore.

With his diabetes, he has neuropathy of the feet, which make them crack, and sometimes bleed. We often get cream from the podiatrist, but that runs over $30 a tube, so I passed a second $1 bottle of Dermasil over to him, for his feet treatment.

Everyone tells me that I have good skin, and even the beauty lady at Dillard’s departmental store, said the same thing. Living in Florida it is so important to use creams that moisturize and hydrate the skin.

Dermasil state on their website that this is ‘Advanced skin therapy for fast healing for rough and extra dry skin. It is also supposed to help reduces wrinkles, and achieve a younger looking skin. It eliminated chapping, cracking, redness, and even soreness. It stops dry skin itching too.

I am very pleased to say that I knew this to be a bargain, and purchased 6 bottles of Dermasil Dry Skin Treatment. This will get us through until I can pick up another great find.
