This is just a small list of the most recent noteable celebrity deaths of 2009.

America lost their Angel. Actress Farrah Fawcett, best known for her role of Jill Munroe on the television series ‘Charlie’s Angels” which ran from 1976-1981. Farrah lost her battle with cancer on June 25, 2009.

Farrah was diagnosed with anal cancer back in 2006 and had begun chemotherapy and recently had just begun alternative treatments in Germany.

Farrah will be remembered not only for that famous poster, her beautiful flowing blond hair full of curls and that gorgeous big smile that lit up an entire room, Farrah will always be remembered as America’s Angel.

Shortly after noon on Thursday, June 25, 2009, paramedics were called to the home of Pop Star Icon Michael Jackson when he had stopped breathing. Two hours later at UCLA Medical Center. Jackson was pronounced dead. It is said that Michael Jackson suffered cardiac arrest and that paramedics had tried for over an hour to resuscitate him but never could bring him back. Michael Jackson had arrived at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles in a coma and never regained consciousness.

The family of Michael Jackson was gathered together at the family’s compound, which is in Encino, California, and Michael’s three children were with relatives. The family has asked for a second autopsy to be performed because of so many unanswered questions they have surrounding his death. In a statement last week, Michael’s brother, Germaine Jackson, said in an announcement to reporters, that the family is grieving and they have a lot of questions surrounding Michael’s death because just a few hours that morning, Michael is rehearsing dance routines and was healthy and happy and then a few hours later he was dead.

Michael Jackson had been rehearsing for comeback concerts that would have been held in the UK beginning on July 13, 2009. Jackson wanted to regain his Pop Star Stardom back after being out of the spotlight for many years and had plans on doing several comeback concerts around the world. Michael Jackson will be missed by many. He is gone now but will be in his loyal fan’s heart forever. May He rest In Peace

Actor David Carradine, star of the television series, “Kung-Fu” from 1972-1975 was found hanged in his hotel room closet in Bangkok on June 4, 2009. When the actor did not show up for a dinner engagement with friends that evening, he was found in his hotel room by the maid. David Carradine was 72 years old.

English stage and screen actress, Natasha Richardson died on March 18, 2009 following a head injury caused from a fall while taking skiing lessons in Quebec. Shortly after the accident, Richardson told paramedics that she was fine and refused any medical attention, but 3 hours later while she was in her hotel room, she began to complain of a headache. Richardson was then taken to a hospital in Montreal where she was in critical condition by then, and admitted to the hospital. This was at least 7 hours later after the fall from skiing. The next day, she was taken to a hospital in New York City and she died there the next day.

One of the most memorable and fun roles Natasha played was back in 1998, when she co-starred in the movie, “The Parent Trap” playing the role of London Dress Designer, Elizabeth James. Lindsey Lohan and Dennis Quaid also starred in the movie.

Ed McMahon, best known as Johnny Carson’s sidekick on “The Tonight Show” passed away shortly after midnight on June 4, 2009 at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. Although no formal cause of death was cited, McMahon had been suffering from multiple health problems for several months before his death.
