How to Cook, Recipe Substitutions, Roasting

The usual motivation behind every purchase of Nuwave Ovens is to have a healthier, cleaner, and more efficient way to cook food. Nuwave Oven, awarded the American Culinary Institute’s prestigious Gold Medal for six consecutive years, features a power head, transparent dome and a dome holder, 2″ cooking rack, 10″ baking pan, base and a locking device that holds dome and power head in place. The baking pan makes desserts, cooks meats, poultry, and fish. What’s more, it includes a quick and easy cooking guide on beef, poultry, pork, lamb, seafood, vegetables, and desserts including pizza and breakfast meals.

The Nuwave Oven is a healthy alternative to conventional ovens. It eliminates more saturated fatty oils than they do. In addition, it is more efficient than a standard oven because of the convection-infrared method of heating.

This oven even cooks food quicker and healthier than conventional ovens, including frozen food and larger cuts of meat, at the same time, food remains moist in the inside, crisp and browned on the outside even without using oil.

The Nuwave Oven cooks most foods up to 50% faster than a conventional oven. The patented cooking methods are Conduction to apply heat directly to food, Convection to circulate the heat around the food, and Infrared that radiates heat on the food. These penetrating rays work with a convection fan and a conductive heat to cook all the layers in between foods at one fell swoop.

Furthermore, infrared cooking releases grease up to 267% more than conventional oven producing a lower cholesterol diet without sacrificing taste.

The Patented Triple Cooking Process of infrared, conduction, and convection barbeques, roasts, air fries, broils, bakes, grills, steams, and dehydrates food without preheating or defrosting. With the Nuwave Oven, you can also use healthier oil on fries, on roast and to sauté vegetables on its cooking tray that you can fold as a one-inch cooking surface and extend as a four-inch cooking surface.

The NuWave Oven cooks frozen foods without pre-heating. For the information of many, cooking frozen meats without thawing is a great way to reduce the risks of food-borne illness.

I received my NuWaveOven last Mother’s day. Since then, I have been using it to do just about everything as regards to meal preparation. It is an excellent product and works as advertised. It is user-friendly. Just set the dials to their proper setting then leave and let the NuWave Oven cook your food.

So far, I have cooked fries, scramble, roast, and veggie burgers. All of my foods have come out perfect, moist and flavor intact. I re-heated a leftover roast from few weeks ago straight from the freezer to the oven, and in 30 minutes the roast was as tender and juicy as it was. However, when I cook meat and vegetables together, the former turned out perfect but not the latter.

The bottom line is that the Nuwave Oven is a good deal for those who do not plan to use it to cook only one type of food at a time. In spite of this, I like this countertop oven. It is handy, and all parts, except the power head are dishwasher-safe. I, certainly, will not trade my oven for anything less.
