Product Review: Simple Solution Stain and Odor Remover

Carpet Stains, Laundry Stains, Odor Remover, Pet Stains

If you have ever had a dog in your family, you know first hand that they have accidents once in awhile. I had tried a lot of different products but nothing I tried seemed to work. Then I saw a product at my local Petsmart, called Simple Solution. I was amazed at what the label promised, to not only remove the stain but also remove the odor left by the stain. The product contains a beneficial bacteria/enzyme that digests the bacteria, which causes the odor. Bramton, the product manufacturer, also promises a Money Back Guarantee with proof of purchase. ” I couldn’t’t go wrong here”, I thought, so I bought it.

I had a couple old stains on my cream colored carpet that I had previously tried to remove. I thought they were removed when I used another product on them, but a few days later the stains seem to reappear. I decided to test the Simple Solution product on these two carpet stains. I began by vacuuming the area, and then I sprayed the Simple Solution product on the stained areas pretty liberally. The carpet stain was almost soaked with the solution. Following the directions, I allowed the stain and odor remover to do its job for about 15 minutes, and then I soaked up the excess with a few paper towels. I left the area to dry overnight and the next day; the stain was no longer visible. Still skeptical, I watched and waited for the stain to reappear the way it had before. To my amazement this old stain has not returned. Simple Solution did its job as stated on the label.

This made me think that it possibly may remove another carpet stain in the living room. This stain, though, was not a pet stain. This stain I needed to remove was a husband stain, it was a coffee stain. The Simple Solution worked great on the pet stains I had, but could it work on this stain my husband made when he spilled his coffee last week? I thought I would give it a try. I followed the same procedure like I did with the pet stain. I vacuumed and sprayed the Simple Solution liberally on and around the stain. I left it sit for 15 minutes and soaked up the excess. This time around, the stain looked a little lighter, but it was still visible.

I waited about a week and decided to try the Simple Solution on the coffee stain again. Leaving the Simple Solution on the carpet stain for 30 minutes this time around seemed to do a much better job. The stain is now barely visible, I still can see it, but visitors to my home have said they don’t notice it.

Simple Solution worked the way its label states on urine and coffee stains. I have even used it on laundry stains. The manufacturers claim lists the follow as stains the product will also remove:Vomit, feces, bloodstains, dirt and grass stains, red wine stains, juice stains, tea stains, baby formula stains and more.

Bramton Simple Solution worked for me on the existing stains when I followed the label instructions. I think this product will be an item that I will keep on hand for use in my laundry as well as for those incidental pet and husband stains.
