Poem to Celebrate My Mother’s Birthday

My dear mother
There is no other
Aging with grace
Full of gray hairs
Today you are sixty-five
But still full of life
I may not be there to celebrate
This is just to congratulate
Be it as it might
Not by my might
We shall rejoice in December
A month to remember
Your wedding anniversary
How you withstood adversity
Though i must confess
You prefer to see my face
I have couriered a package
To give you more courage
your grand-children’s pictures
Though you prefer to feel their features
And massage their structures
But they recorded some message
I know you prefer a massage
Money and flower is on the way
Let it lead the way
Spoil yourself for me
I have the means
Happy birthday, mother
