Another idea for a location is your local VFW hall. This can be a very reasonable place to hold a shower and many of them have lots of room. Often they have tables and chairs that are ready for you to set up. Some locations will set the chairs and tables up for you. This is a great location if you have a large group to accommodate and you would like to do your own catering, or cook the food yourself.
