Registration for 2010 MCAT

Registration for 2010 MCAT will open November 2009. Be prepared to register early in order to get the test date most suitable to your schedule.

If you are eligible for the Fee Assistance Program (FAP) you must have that paperwork with you at the time you register. Otherwise you will be charged the full amount of the current registration fee (MCAT Registration Fee). There is a $55 fee for rescheduling test date or testing site and an additional $65 fee for international test sites.

Other Important Tips for Registering for the 2010 MCAT

The name on your application MUST match, exactly, the name on the ID you present at the test site. Remember that when you register. Initials are not acceptable upon registration or on ID at the test site. If you register with a foreign name, do not go take the MCAT with your name Americanized on your I.D.

Government issued I.D. is the only acceptable I.D. Make sure you have approved government ID, not work or school ID, prior to the test date.

It’s this simple and this strict: You will not be allowed in the test site unless your full name on your registration matches your I.D. This is to ensure the integrity of the exam for you and your peers.

Double check your application to be sure your contact address and phone numbers on the application are correct.

If you need to make a change to your registration it must be made by the late registration deadline, without exception.

Deciding When to Register for the 2010

Test early and test often is a good motto. If you are planning on taking the test two or three times, it is a good idea to take your first test in January, then around April or May, leaving you the end of the summer for a final retake if necessary.
