Nivea Visage Q10 Advanced Wrinkle Reduction: Save Money & Buy Another Cream

Nivea, Wrinkle Reduction

How do I reduce the lines on my face? I have tried day creams as well as night creams, and none has made even a slight difference to my appearance. About 3 months ago I went to my local Walgreen’s drug store and they had Nivea Visage Q10 Advanced Wrinkle Reducer day creme SPF 8 and Q10 Advanced Wrinkle Reducer Night Creme on sale. I figure with two cremes made by the same company I just might have a chance at improving my appearance.

The Nivea Visage Q10 day creme comes in a white box three and three quarter inches in depth. However, when you open it, the jar only stands one and a half inches high. Oh how I hate all that packing and thinking that the container is bigger than it really is. Upon opening the jar there is a seal to prevent leakage of the creme. I removed this but used the creme that was stuck to it. The day creme is slightly off white in color and has a very delicate floral perfume. It is thick and creamy but rubs easily into the face and neck. After using it my face almost glows. You can actually see the moisture in the skin.

On the box it states:

“To use: Smooth over face after cleansing and toning. Of course they suggest using their products for the first two steps.”

Then at night time I remove my make up and I started the same day using Nivea Visage Q10 Advanced Wrinkle Reducer Night Creme. This creme comes in a black box exactly the same size at the day one and of course the jar of creme is black and the same size. After opening it and removing the seal I used the creme on my face and neck area. This too has a very delicate fragrance, again is an off white color, but is slightly thicker than the day creme.

With both of these products they really go a long way. You only need the smallest amount of creme.

Both jars are 1.7 oz. net weight (48g). They are dermatologist tested and will not clog pores.

The day creme’s active ingredients is octinoxate, avobenzone, ensulizole, titanium dioxide. The list of other ingredients is far too long to bore you with. Both boxes have exactly the same details stating that “Nivea Visage Q10 Advanced Wrinkle Reducer now contains Q10 Energy Complex to visibly reduce the appearance of wrinkles and help prevent new wrinkles.”

It explains that as you get older it is more difficult for your skin to fight new wrinkles so the cremes are formulated to help with new and old wrinkles.

The last paragraph on the box states: “Within 4 weeks the appearance of lines and wrinkles is visibly reduced. Daily usage helps prevent the appearance of new wrinkles. Actual results may vary”.

Well, I gave it 4 weeks, 8 weeks, and now 12 weeks and I can’t see any difference from the day I started. None of my has made a comment that I look younger or what have you been doing as your skin looks so good? So I have to say that you may wish to save your money and buy a cheaper brand of day and night creams. If I remember correctly the retail price for each jar was around $12.99. I managed to buy when it was buy one and get one free. If I had paid full price I would have been disappointed. My face is soft and full of moisture, which is great as I live in Florida, but I did expect to see a little improvement in my wrinkles. I know that most cremes do very little for improvement but I was hoping for a minor miracle.
