My one dollar DVD rental from Redbox usually costs me $3 or more because I forget to return it and am charged one dollar per day. The value for your money depends on your family and habits.
$8.99 per month will get you unlimited Netflix DVD rentals each month but you can only have one at a time. This is a good plan if you want to watch about 1-2 movies per week. Due to the fact that you have to mail them back, you will probably only get to watch one (sometimes two ) Netflix movie per week.
$13.99 per month will you get unlimited Netflix DVD rentals per month and you can have two out at a time. With this plan you can almost always have a new Netflix DVD rental to watch. This is the Netflix DVD rental plan that I had during most of my membership.

$23.99 with 4 Netflix DVD’s at a time

How Does Netflix DVD Rental Work?
Once you sign up for the Netflix DVD rental program, you pick which movies you would like to see by putting them in your queue. Once the movies are in your queue, your Netflix DVD’s can then be sent according to your plan. Netflix DVD’s mail from numerous locations across the United States and most areas can expect to receive their Netflix DVD rental in one business day. Once you get your movie, watch it and send it back or keep it as long as you want. There are no late fees but you will not get another movie until you send one back.
Receiving Your Movies
