MySpace Tutorial: How to View Anything Hidden on a MySpace Profile

MySpace

Have you ever run across someone’s MySpace profile and noticed that there was something missing? For example, one of the most common is MySpace users hiding the ability to add comments to their page or hiding their top friends list.

The good news is that viewing hidden things on a MySpace profile is a piece of cake if you know where to look. You need two pieces of information before you can do this.

1) The person’s MySpace friend ID number.

2) The MySpace URLs to view each individual item.

To find out your friends MySpace friend ID number, just head over to their MySpace profile. Once you’re there, take a look at the URL in the address bar. It should look something like this:

http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid;=69476243

The MySpace friend ID is the number located at the end of that URL. If the address in the address bar is different than what you see above – for example, something like this http://myspace.com/themyspaceoryourspage, then just hover over their MySpace display pic with your mouse and click. This will take your to their “View Pics” page and you’ll be able to see their MySpace friend ID number there.

Once you have their MySpace friend ID, all you need is the MySpace URLs. There’s a unique URL for each item and you already have access to all of them – just take a look at your own profile. But for your convenience, I’ll list them here.

Simply copy and paste the correct URL into your web address bar and replace “ADDFRIENDIDHERE” with your friends MySpace friend ID number.

One other way of viewing hidden MySpace profiles is to change the page style setting on your browser. You must be using Mozilla Firefox to be able to do this.

To change the page style settings do this:

1) Go to VIEW

2) Select PAGE STYLE

3) Select NO STYLE

This pretty much strips down the MySpace profile, but you’re able to see anything that the MySpace user may have hidden with CSS or HTML codes.

So get out there and do some MySpace stalking already!
