This list comprises 20 of country music’s top love songs in my opinion (I tried to mix both old and new country). I have always been a country fan; this article will give a brief explanation of why each song made my list.

This classic song by Willie tells why he the girl in his life is the most important to him even if he did not make her feel that way in the past; romantic song for rekindled love.
2. “Love Story” by Taylor Swift
This new song by Taylor Swift is already a favorite country love song; basically a modern day Romeo and Juliet story.
3. “Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain” by Willie Nelson
This country love song by Willie reminisces on how throughout time his love is timeless for the woman he is singing about.
4. “Cowboy Take Me Away” by The Dixie Chicks
“Cowboy Take Me Away” is a great country love song how the female singer wants the man of her dreams to be only hers and take her away.
5. “Don’t Take The Girl” by Tim McGraw
This song goes through the different stages of courtship and young love for a young couple, which eventually leads to marriage. The song has a sad ending but you can feel the love felt during this song, which puts the listener in an emotional spell.
6. “These Days” by Rascal Flatts
This song may not be on anyone else’s top 25 country love songs, but this made my list because you can tell the male singers wants the young love of his life back with all his heart.
7. “Making Memories of Us” by Keith Urban
This song is very romantic as the male singer wants nothing more than to just be with the woman of his dreams, and make memories with her.
8. “Bless The Broken Road” by Rascal Flatts
The singer talks about how after all other loves in his life have failed and hurt him, god helped him find the woman of his dreams, and he basically professes his love to her in this song, very romantic.
9. “How Forever Feels” Kenny Chesney
Great song of how Kenney’s feelings change after he finds the woman of his dreams. He feels amazing, so he proposes.
10. “I Melt” by Rascal Flatts
Singer breaks down in love every time he sees that special person.
11. “I Still Miss Someone” by Johnny Cash
Johnny misses the feeling of closeness with his love. Great country love song.
12. “I’d Love to Lay You Down” by Conrad Twitty
Self explanatory, he wants to make love, very good love song.
13. “It’s Your Love” by Faith Hill and Tim McGraw
This beautiful duet expresses solid emotion in this country love song.
14. “One More Day” by Diamond Rio
Singer wants one more day with the love of his life because of how she makes him feel, he can never get enough and wishes for one more day after another. He puts aside all distractions for her.
15. “There You’ll Be” by Faith Hill
“In my heart there will always be a place for you in my life” lyric shows the love the female singer has for her lover.
16. “The Man In Love With You” by George Strait
The male singer says how he may not be the perfect man; he is the man who loves her. This country love song is very romantic.
17. “We Danced” Brad Paisley
Song starts out simply with a dance between two strangers, and eventually turns into love by the end of the song. Great story and great country love song.
18. “Stay With Me (Brass Bed)” by Josh Gracin
Singer convinces girl to stay with him, he gives her all the right reasons.
19. “Tim McGraw” by Taylor Swift
This song may not get on any other lists, but I believe this is a perfect country love song, as Taylor is reminiscing of a great first love. She clearly still loves him and is thinking of him.
20. “Amazed” by Lone Star
Classic country love song, “I have never been this close to anyone or anything, I can hear your thoughts, I can see your dreams”. Singer is amazed by everything the person he is singing of, very romantic country love song.
