In my experience it is very much beneficial to spend the extra $1000 or so to get a manufactured home re-sited on a different parcel of land. The overall experience is much smoother and professional – if you try to save too much money then the risks are obviously going to be increased – you can argue that you will be covered with insurance but that is not the point.
