During my years spent as a party planner and as a mom, I have learned that most kids love unusual novelty items. With that said, you may want to hand out novelty golf balls as party favors. One novelty golf ball that you may want to consider including in your party guests’ loot bags is the ProActive Giggle Putt. The ball lets out an obnoxious laugh when you hit it with a golf club. The giggling golf balls are often available for purchase through department stores, sports shops and specialty retailers for $6 to $7 each. Another novelty golf ball that you may want to consider using is a Sponge Bob Square Pants golf ball. It is made by Wilson and tends to sell through sports shops for $9 a box.
Miniature, toy golf carts also make great golf themed party favors for kids. The toy golf carts that I am referring to are generally sold through specialty toy, party and golf supply shops for less than $5 each. The golf carts themselves tend to be 3 ½ inches long, come in assorted colors and will scoot across the floor with a decent amount of speed.
Oddball Golf Ball Glasses
Novelty glasses made to resemble a pair of golf balls would also undoubtedly make your party guests’ smile. Based on my experience, novelty golf ball glasses are 6 inches wide and sell online for less than $5 a pair.
Golf themed crafts are also worthy of your consideration. Examples of golf ball themed crafts include having the kids create personalized golf charm bracelets, golf towels, golf sun visors and golf ball bags. You may opt to purchase ready-made craft kits or assemble your own. I would recommend that you assemble your own because it tends to be less expensive that way. I’d recommend buying the craft supplies in bulk. The best place to do that is through a craft wholesaler or a major craft supply shop.
Golf Candy
Golf themed candy is another party favor that you may want to consider using. One option is to purchase a case of chocolate golf balls through a candy wholesaler for $19. Of course, you could also opt to purchase a golf themed candy mold for $3 through a restaurant supply shop and make your own. Either way, I am sure that your party guests will appreciate the effort.
