With the cost rising on everything and becoming seemingly more difficult, it’s good to know that there is a magazine that is dedicated to helping everyday people.
After receiving an offer from Real Simple magazine, I thought, not another magazine offer. They offered a free preview so I thought that I would try it. When I received my preview magazine I immediately fell in love. Topics you will find in their magazine include the following:
Simple Solutions: This section gives you tips on how to use common household items that you may be throwing away because you find that they aren’t useful for their purpose any longer. Think again, Real Simple gives you ways that you can use those household items as something else so you aren’t throwing them away and you are saving your money from having to go out and buy something else. Whether it be window decals, pillow cases or hosiery, there is a second use for these items. Next time, you won’t be so quick to throw things like that out into the garbage. This section also gives you tips on how to solve problems that you may be having around your household. Such as, how do I loosen a stuck cap on a glue bottle? That’s right! They’ve got the answer for you. Also, there are suggestions on items you can buy to help you solve a problem or even where to look online to help you.
The Guide: This gives you suggestions and tips on style. Not only do they give you suggestions on style but they also tell you where you can find a product they are recommending and how much it is. Now, you don’t have to search for that item only to realize that it may be out of your price range. Included in this section is suggestions on your home, such as paint colors and how you can help “spruce up your place. They give great ideas that you can use and will give your home that special “feel” that you’ve been trying to find. Just like in style, they also tell you where you can find the items and how much they cost. Some things seem a little expensive to me but for the most part they find things that are reasonably priced that most people can afford paying for. Beauty, life, body and money wise also help to make this section worth while. These sections give you tips on things that may be best for you to buy and will help you save money. They give travel tips on what you should know before you go and how you can travel more inexpensively. Work out tips and work out routines are very helpful and very useful if you’re looking to get yourself into shape. The workout moves are not very hard at all and are not very long, making them easier to squeeze into your daily routine.
Road Tests: If you’ve wondered about trying a product but don’t know whether you want to buy it to try it, Real Simple may be able to help. In this section, they have gotten together products that have been tested and rated on how they “performed” or if you just want to see what the best kind of tape you can use, it’s all right here in this section. Whether it be soap, cosmetics or even yogurt, you will find what was the best. Ways to be your personal best is also very good. They give ways in which you can better yourself and help yourself succeed in life. Best of all is most of these articles are written by very reliable sources. They even introduce the authors at the end of their articles making you feel more comfortable about what you’re reading.
There are other sections of the magazine that are a tremendous amount of help to you in your everyday life. We can’t forget about the delicious recipes that they give in every article or tips and suggestions on how to become better organized in your home or at the office. Let’s face it, we all want to be a little better organized. It helps you find things a lot quicker and easier and cuts out the frustration of having to look and think where you last placed it.
Overall, I highly recommend this magazine to anyone who is looking for helpful tips that help you everyday and save you money in the long run. I give this magazine a 6 out of 5 star rating. Yes, it’s that good!
