The Blue Saffron Company

Located on South Shepherd Drive at Westheimer in Houston this four generation business is known for its exotic antique pieces. Their company and pieces have been featured several times in the publications Houston Design resources and Paper City magazine. If you are looking for a exotic or international antique or piece of art this would be the store for you. In their large inventory they offer Asian, European, Moroccan and Moorish antiques. House of Glass

Open since 1949 this Houston antique store is still family owned and operated, and has the offers Houston’s oldest fine chandelier showroom. They have a gold star rating with the BBB of Houston and are well know throughout Texas for their quality antiques. Centrally located on Louisiana street near downtown Houston they are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 to 5:00. Not only do they offer grand upscale chandeliers they also have beautiful and unique mirrors, sconces, furniture, lanterns and much more. Adkins Architectural Antiques and Treasures

You will find this top architectural salvage dealer on Fannin Street in Houston, Texas near the Museum of Fine Arts. Operating since 1972 in a beautiful three story home built in 1912 they have been chosen by This Old House magazine as one of the top architectural salvage dealers in the country. Not only is their charming store packed with amazing discoveries they also have a 20,000 square foot warehouse filled with antiques. They also rent props for special events, photo shoots and movies. Their hours are Monday through Saturday 9:30 to 5:30 and Sunday noon until 5:00. French, Spanish and English are spoken here to accommodate all customers. The amount and variety of items they offer is dizzying not only do they have one of a kind architectural and structural pieces their extensive inventory of antiques include mailboxes, sinks, doors, hardware, lighting, claw foot tubs, mantles, tiles, stained glass and more. Here you can browse through some of all the wonderful antique items they have, but to truly enjoy the ambience you need to visit them in person.
