Links to the Best Coors Light Press Conference Commercials

Coors, Coors Light, Mike Ditka

Some of the best commercials during the year can be related to the great sport of football. Thanks to the wonderful people at Associated Content, my article regarding the best Peyton Manning commercials has been receiving more hits than I expected, especially considering that Peyton will be watching the remainder of the NFL season from the sidelines. The renewed interest in that article along with my love for the Coors Light “press conference” ads brings us to this new piece.

By now, I’m sure that most of you reading are very aware with the Coors commercials. These began during the 2006 NFL season have gotten better and better. Here are the best Coors Light Press Conference Commercials. These are in no particular order. It’s up to you, my faithful readers, to determine which commercial is indeed the best.

Best Coors Light Press Conference Commercials #1: Dennis Green had his Coors Light stolen.

Last season, Dennis Green was head coach of the Arizona Cardinals. During a Monday Night Football game against the eventual NFC Champion Chicago Bears, his Cardinals blew a significant lead and eventually lost the game. During his post-game press conference which can be seen here, Green let his feelings about the game be known to reporters. In 2007, Coors Light wisely incorporated this now infamous piece of footage into a great commercial. View this Coors Light ad here.

Best Coors Light Press Conference Commercials #2: Playoffs? You kiddin’ me??

Years back, Jim Mora was the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts. After a game in which the Colts “sucked” according to Mora, the coach let off a rant that is played every NFL season to this day. Watch the original rant here.

In this particular commercial, the Coors Light guys ask Coach Mora if it’s wise to talk about the upcoming playoffs with some young ladies at a party. Needless to say, Mora did not see this as a wise idea. Find out his response by watching the commercial here.

Best Coors Light Press Conference Commercials #3: “Don’t you mean down to 33 or 34?”

Bill Parcells is one of the most legendary head coaches in the history of the NFL. He’s also been in a handful of the Coors Light Press Conference ads. I am a fan of this particular commercial for two reasons. First, I love the look on the face of Parcells after he asked about the temperature of the beer going down. Second, the ending is hilarious. Good rule of thumb: Always be on guard when there is ice cold Coors Light available. Find out what I mean by going here.

Best Coors Light Press Conference Commercials #4: “You live in the past, you die in the past.”

The original star of the Coors Light Press Conference Commercials was none other than former head coach Mike Ditka. In this older commercial, Ditka is invited to a 70’s theme party by the Coors Light guys. Ditka proceeds to let the guys know what he thinks about the idea. The ending hints that the boys may not be dismayed by the coach’s advice. Find out for yourself by watching the ad here.

I don’t love all of the Coors Light Press Conference Commercials. I’m not a huge fan of the commercial where Bill Parcells “meets” Bigfoot. If you are a fan of this particular ad and need a laugh or just want to check it out, do so by clicking here.

There is another Coors Light commercial featuring Mike Ditka that you can watch online. I like this one better than the “Parcells/Bigfoot” ad but I prefer the Ditka commercial listed above. However, the ending of this particular ad is pretty good. Find out what I mean by clicking here.

These commercials are so popular that many people have created parodies that can be found online. I’ll be listing a few of those in an upcoming article so be on the lookout, dear readers. Until then, enjoy these links.
