Letter B Preschool and Toddler Crafts

Toddler Crafts

Are you needing preschool crafts that begin with the letter B? Are you a teacher searching for activities for an alphabet lesson plan? Needing letter of the day activities for the letter B? Just want to make a keepsake with your child that begins with a B? If so, here are some fantastic crafts for the letter B.

Letter B Preschool / Kindergarten Craft #1: Butterfly Magnet

This simple craft will make a nice gift or memento. You will need to purchase plaster of paris and butterfly molds at a craft store such as Michael’s. Make the molds and allow them to dry completely. Then allow the children to paint and decorate the butterflies, and attach a magnet on the back. (You might be able to purchase wooden or ceramic pre-made butterflies.) To save cost, you could also make paper butterflies, and allow the children to color them, and attach a magnet on back. You might write “B is for Butterfly” on the back.

Letter B Preschool / Kindergarten Craft #2: Bell

A second fun craft to make for the letter B is a bell. If it is around Christmas time, you could make a bell ornament. Or, you could try this bell craft here. This is probably for older kids, but toddlers could make it with alot of help.

Letter B Preschool / Kindergarten Craft #3: Bookmark

A bookmark craft is very inexpensive and easy to make. Read “Easy Craft: How to Make a Homemade Bookmark.” for instructions. You could also make one that is shaped like something that starts with a B such as a bumblebee or bear.

Letter B Preschool / Kindergarten Craft #4: Button Art

This is definitely a unique project. Provide children with a variety of buttons, and allow them to make designs to glue to paper with craft glue. This is probably best for kindergarten students and older preschoolers. You could also have them glue them to an object such as a box or flower pot.

Letter B Preschool / Kindergarten Craft #5: Bracelet

This is a fun craft. Boys can make it to give to their moms, and girls might want to keep them. Read “How to Make Simple Bracelets for Kids” for details and instructions.

Letter B Preschool / Kindergarten Craft #6: Birdseed Feeder

Last, but not least, a pine cone bird seed feeder is a fun craft. Just get a pine cone and tie a piece of string to it. Then, roll it in peanut butter. Cover with birdseed and hang on a tree or two. It’s a fun way to feed the birds.
