Lane Community College is also the home of the LCC Women’s Program in Eugene. This program offers many resources for women seeking employment. A very popular offering is the “Transitions to Success” program that helps displaced homemakers, single parents and other women in transition access education, training and employment. Additionally, the Access Program provides women with mentorship, referral and training for technical and trade jobs that are considered traditionally dominated by male workers. The Job and Career Center at the Oregon Employment Department provides job lists, referrals, telephones and some computer access, as well as cover letter and resume writing assistance.
