This is a roller coaster to take someone one if they haven’t rode them before or if they don’t like the big and scarier ones in the park. The Jack Rabbit is a short ride that gives you just enough thrills, but not too many. It makes you like roller coasters and then you will be able to move on to the more advanced ones. This is a great first roller coaster to ride. Many people start on this one and then graduate to faster and steeper roller coasters in the park. Feel free to do so. Others make sure that they ride on every ride in the park, including the Jack Rabbit. However you want to do it is all up to you.
The Jack Rabbit, though mild, has an excellent jump that will startle you. The hills are not too steep and the speed is just right. For those with heart problems, you might want to sit this one out, though. It is still a roller coaster and they are not recommended for people with ailments like that. However, watching the ride is just as fun, so no need to fear if you can’t ride, find a seat in the sun and watch your loved ones go on.

At Kennywood you will have several other rides to enjoy besides the Jack Rabbit and shows and entertainment to keep you busy all day. There are places to get something to eat so you can stay all day. In fact, that is what most people do they stay. They make it an all day outing.
For visitors to Kennywood be sure to get a map at the entrance and that way you can get to your favorite rides easily. You can also find your way around the park better because it can get confusing.
