We have all been to those dinner parties. We sit down, chat with friends and then the selling begins. Whether you are looking at kitchen gadgets, lotions, make-up, or scrap book materials, the parties all have the same general theme: This is the best product out there! We listen as the sales consultant tells about the history of the company and the products they love and can’t live without. There are tables of supplies to browse, and then the magazines come out. All of a sudden you feel the pressure that you have to buy something even if you don’t feel like the product is worth the asking price. Is the product worth the money? The only way you can answer this question is to do a little research yourself. After going to several Creative Memories Parties I have an idea of my own!
I do believe Creative Memories has some excellent products. They are expensive, but they are exceptional. Creative Memories is the first company to offer a full-line of scrap book crafting materials. They sell paper, stickers and an array of tools. I’ll cover some of the great benefits of Creative Memories in this article, as well as some products that do not stand the test of my approval!
Creative Memories has fantastic tools! Even some of the simplest tools they offer are great inventions. There is no other company that produces as innovative tools as Creative Memory has created. They are in a league of their own when it comes to providing crafting tools that will help you to create beautiful scrap books. For this reason alone, the higher prices are worth the tool products. They have a fantastic cutting system that cannot be found anywhere else. Shapes, blades and the cutting mat all work together with ease and cut beautiful shapes. Their tape runner is a favorite for many scrap bookers’ as well. They have great shape punches and a handy personal paper trimmer. Their pens work smoothly and come in great packs. They offer a great sharp, precise scissors and many other simple products to help you become a better scrap booker!
Creative Memories also has a fantastic line of supplies to sort pictures and organize your paper and tools. Their Power Sort picture sorter is exceptional! It is built from sturdy materials and will keep your picture safe from harm and any substances. Their accordion folder stores scrap paper, stickers, and full size 12 x 12 sheets. I feel that these products are worth the money they ask for them.
The albums from Creative Memory are very sturdy, but they are a little trickier to assemble. They have a strap bound system that makes adding pages very simple. You have to buy separate paper and page covers so that is an extra cost as well. I don’t like their albums as much as the other albums you can purchase at the scrap book and craft stores.
The paper and stickers that Creative Memories produces are simple and very basic. They work to serve a purpose, but I prefer to buy paper from a scrap book store that has aisles of paper options. For the cost of the Creative Memory paper packs, you can purchase several sheets of designer paper from a scrap book store.
So I guess after my own research of the Creative Memory Scrapbook line of products, I would say there are some items that are worth the money. Any tool you purchase from Creative Memories will be a great product that you will soon wonder how you scrap booked without! I suggest purchasing tools from them, but leaving the rest to the scrap book and craft stores!
