Fairy Godmother

If you want to help your children to improve the creativity and develop their level of imagination, teach them how to write a narrative paragraph. Helping them to write a narrative paragraph improve their writing skills. This helps them to focus on a specific target. They will also know where to begin and where to end. They will not go on writing and will learn to stop where they need to stop.

If you want your kid to write a narrative paragraph, choose an interesting topic that will catch their imagination skills. Writing a narrative paragraph that will have animals, birds, flowers, plants and nature kindles the roots of imagination. It will also help them to understand how it is important to live in a world with a safer surrounding. Don’t worry if you don’t have garden at your back-yard. Take them to a park near your house. Ask them to observe few things that they see there. Ask them to note down the birds, flowers and little animals they see there. Squirrels, flowers, trees and colorful birds that visit the park will be ideal characters to be included in a narrative paragraph. Once they have decided on the type of characters their narrative will have, teach them how to sequence the events one by one. Tell them the importance of chronological order.

Here is an example for narrative paragraph :

I finished my writing work earlier on that day. I went to the back yard. Evening has set in and I can hear the flapping wings of the birds returning to their nests. I strolled to the end of the garden, where I have planted my favorite jasmine plants. I have a few varieties of jasmine and it is a pleasant experience to watch them unfurl their petals and let out their fragrance slowly. I breathed in the fresh air. I looked ahead the bushes of jasmine. I can see someone standing there wearing a white colored dress with flowing pleats and encircled with dazzling light. She resembled my godmother who lives in California. It took sometime for me to realize that the figure in front of me is a Fairy Godmother. As I have read in the fairy tales, she looked very beautiful and I can feel the sweet fragrance of all kinds of flowers from her. In the darkness, I can see her eyes shining brightly. The Fairy Godmother asked me to come near her. She blessed me with a warm hug. When she asked me what is my wish, I felt dumb. I can only stare at her forgetting to blink my eyes.
