Making money by selling Avon isn’t all that easy. But you can turn this company into your full-time job, and have success provided you have a good running car, and don’t mind traveling places in order to reach lots of customers.

I was an Avon representative myself at one point, but found that there was a lot of competition out there, and I really wasn’t making what I need to in order to keep up with it. What Avon wants their representatives to do that I just couldn’t seem to get going, is recruit other representatives to make money. That is a multi-level-marketing opportunity. Once enroll ten reps, you get so much money and so on, and you also need to get the people under you to recruit too. If you have success this way, Avon can make you a lot of money. Recruiting involves your time and efforts, setting up stations at your district, shopping malls, etc., to get others under you.

Selling Avon products alone doesn’t make tons of money unless you have truckloads of customers. Depending on how many dollars of Avon you sell per campaign as it’s called, the higher percentage your commission earnings will be. In order to earn their highest commission, which used to be 50%, you have to work super hard in order to get that money, like sell $1,000 worth or better. To do that, I suggest leaving campaign books everywhere you go, that means at your day job, hanging books on doors, leaving them in beauty shops, and other places. I used to get friends to sell for me, and give them little Avon discounts for doing so. After awhile, that added up, and will pile in commissions for you.

Something else that you can do is stock Avon products when the have the What’s New booklets that are sent with your campaign items each shipment. This booklet will offer so many of their upcoming products to reps at a discounted price, and you buy ahead, and sell them at the catalog price. This is a good way to make profits with Avon. It is a good idea to have a party with your customers at Christmas time, and feature items you have on hand. It is also a good way to make more money, and gain more new customers!

Buying a few sample products from Avon each campaign is often worth the trouble. They are not too costly in batches of five, ten, or better, and will convince customers to buy more. When I did this, my products sold quite well, and I had many successful campaigns.

Go online with your website when you join Avon. They will provide a website for you, but then you need to promote it. That is the hard part sometimes. The best bet on that is to get the site seen by big search engines like Google.

If you do all of these things with Avon, recruit, sell, have parties, and a website, then your chances for success is highest with all of them combined.
