How to Make a Healthy, Grilled Fruit Salad Wrap

Grilled Fruit, Outdoor Grill, Sandwich Shops

I hear you’re not a veggie person and strongly dislike those veggie wraps made in sandwich shops, but you want to have a healthy energizing lunch without the calories. However, you know the only healthy wrap up on that menu board in the sandwich shop is a veggie wrap, and you still wish they would make a different kind of wrap sandwich you could enjoy that was healthy for you to eat.

Well, I have an idea for you; how about you make a grilled fruit salad wrap at home instead? A grilled fruit salad wrap is tasty, loaded with vitamin C and has your daily servings of fruit. The grilled fruit salad wrap has tons of grilled fresh sweet fruit in it, topped with a sweet honey as dressing, and then served in a honey wheat wrap for you to enjoy. A fruit salad wrap only takes ten minutes to make, and the ingredients needed to make this grilled fruit wrap are really inexpensive and cost around five dollars.

You can get your ingredients at your local grocery store. The ingredients you will need to make this healthy fruit salad grill wrap are; 1 honey wheat wrap, 1 tablespoon of honey, 1 half of a sliced round pineapple, slice melons such as; watermelon and cantaloupe , a large peeled and sliced oranges, 1 peeled and sliced kiwi, some large sliced strawberries, and one slice and peeled banana.

The items you will need to have to make this wrap is an indoor, or outdoor grill, a metal spatula, a small paring knife, and a plate.

To begin making this healthy fruit salad sandwich wrap you will need to; peel, cut of stems, and slice large chunks of fruit with your paring knife that will sit on your grill well without falling into your charcoal. Once you have your fruit all slice up into large chunks, you will then place your sliced fruit onto a hot grill for about 5 minutes, or until you see grill marks on each piece of fruit. Once you see grill marks on your fruit, remove the fruit from the grill immediately.

Mean while, grab your honey wheat wrap and place in onto a large plate so it can be used immediately after your fruit is done grilling. Once your fruit has grill marks and is done cooking, place the slice grilled fruit onto your honey wheat wrap. When your fruit has been grilled and placed onto your honey wheat wrap, you will then take your tablespoon of honey and pour in all over the fruit.

Once your honey has been poured over your fruits, you will then take one end of your wrap and begin rolling your fruit wrap up towards you tucking in each end of the wrap half way into rolling, and then making sure each end of the wrap is tucked in tightly, and then finish rolling up your wrap all the way with each end of the warp tucked into the middle. Once your wrap has been rolled up into a long sandwich wrap, you will then make a diagonal cut half way through your fruit wrap, and then you will want to eat your fruit salad wrap right away.

There, now you have a new healthy wrap you can enjoy without those veggies you hate so much. I hope you have enjoyed learning how to make a grilled fruit salad wrap, and I really hope you enjoy making and eating it as well.
