How to Keep Your Feet Soft and Smooth

There are ways to keep our feet looking soft and smooth because this is something many of us may not pay to much attention to but, when the spring and summer comes and sandals are in season, we want to have our feet looking their best, here are some ways to keep them soft and smooth.

1.) First if you’ve notice when you walk around barefoot during the summer months that tends to make our feet ruff and scaly from walking around on the floors.

2) We must protect our feet to keep them soft and smooth during the summer, make sure you wear some type of sandals or flip flops, or a house shoe, because when we walk around barefoot that will make our feet rough and scaly because they’re unprotected from the hard floors, many of us are quite comfortable walking around barefoot when it’s hot but, this is ruining our feet.

3.) To make your feet soft and smooth soak them a lease once per week in warm soapy water for five or ten minutes, when you’re done dry them and apply moisturizer right away, while their still wet, our feet needs to be moisturize just like the rest of our body and is just as important because when the weather does get warm we want to have beautiful feet as well, and walking around barefoot all the time can ruin your feet. You see many people with rough scaly feet, their heels are very dry with rough skin and has turned white on the bottom, that’s because they’re walking barefoot a lot. so you want to try to avoid this from happening to you.

4.) After you moisturizer then let that soak into your skin and dry, then apply some oil to your feet like baby oil or some Vaseline not to much because you don’t want them to be to greasy, then wrap them in a hot towel for about ten minutes, or stick them in a plastic bag, this will help the oils to absorb into the skin for that extra protection. Make sure you moisturize your feet before they dry this will help the moisture to go into the skin where it is needed to make the outside look great as well.

5.) If you have some scaly skin on your heels gentle scrap it off with a piece of metal like a slipper spoon that you use to slip your shoes on with, or your nail file will do, don’t scrap to hard because you don’t want to scrap any skin off, just the dead skin, and do this while their still wet.,

6.) The key is to keep those feet moisturized just like your face or the rest of your body, and try not to walk barefoot everyday if you do, try to do it only twice per week that way you won’t do to much damage to your feet.

7.) When you’re done with these things above go ahead and polish your toe nails, because you never know who will see them if you got sick or was unable to do them for a while you want to keep them looking as well as your fingernails, getting a pedicure won’t hurt because they will also pamper your feet.

So, go easy on your feet and give them a break because you want them to look great in your new sandals you bought for the summer. Also you should take care of them in the winter as well so, that they will be in good shape for the spring and summer months. Try to wear your shoes as much as possible so that you won’t ruin your feet, I know a lot of people don’t like to wear shoes around the house but, it’s really protecting your feet if you wear something, even if it’s a pair of socks, and even if you just go barefoot part of the day instead of the whole day will help keep you feet soft and smooth. You don’t want to get into bed and have your feet stick on the covers or scratch someone because they’re so rough and scaly, with a little care you can have soft and smooth feet all the time.
