After clicking on the link for the Alaska Court System, you will have the option to view older system records or newer system records. Search both systems to find as much information on the individual you are seeking for criminal and summary records.

After clicking the “Name Index,” (Old System Documents) you will be provided with a variety of option fields. Just fill in the name portions in the fields and don’t bother with the year or any other options then click search. If you have results then in order to vie the information you will have to click the circle next to the name of the individual. By clicking the dot it will give you any criminal or summary records on this individual. The details that will be displayed are: The individual’s name, any personal information that they have on record, offense(s) committed if any, the type of charge, and other information.

The New System documents can be accessed by clicking “CourtView.” CourtView files are updated every few days as opposed to the older system that is only updated quarterly. To view new system files, fill in the individual’s name in the fields provided and leave the other options alone. Then click search. The results, if any will be displayed. To access the details of the individual displayed click on the case number in the column that is highlighted in blue. The new system provides information on individuals such as: offenses that they were charged with, degree of offense, and other information. It is somewhat similar to the old system documents.
