After you have been accepted to the FBI, you’ll have to go to Quantico, Virginia to the US Marine Corps and train. This is a very demanding 17 weeks of training and is a requirement for FBI agents. At the entry level for a FBI agent expect to make about $51,000 a year, while in training at the FBI academy. A FBI special agent on their first field office assignment will earn roughly $61,000 and $69,000 depending on which FBI field office you’re stationed at. Once seniority is accomplished a FBI agent can earn a significant amount of money.
