4) Dollar Tree- The name might not seem like much, but Dollar Tree can be a very busy store. Located on the corner of Flat Shoals Road and Highway 138, next to Big Lots, this store always has a steady stream of customers. I have never been into the store without seeing a sign announcing that they are hiring.
5) McDonald’s- Many people tease about having to work at McDonald’s, but the fact of the matter is that lots of people do it. Not only that, but there are several McDonald’s locations in the area, so you’re sure to find at least one that is hiring.
6) The Home Depot- This great story, located in the Walmart shopping center at Hwy 138 and Dogwood Dr, is always hiring part-time help. With many different positions available, you’re sure to find just the right one for yourself.
7) American Fair Lanes- This bowling alley, located on Flat Shoals Road across from the Kroger shopping center, offers a fun working environment. Business gets busier during the summer, and extra employees will be needed to help with the workload.
8) Blockbuster- With several locations in the area, Blockbuster is always looking for new employees. If you enjoy movies or video games, this is a great place to work. You not only get to work with the movies you love, you can also be available to recommend them to the many customers that make their way into these great stores.
