Gevalia Coffee Review: Perfect Coffee for Coffee Lovers

Coffee Brewing, Coffee Lovers, Coffee Review, French Vanilla, Gevalia

I have finally discovered the coffee that was truly made for all coffee lovers. My husband likes coffee. I love coffee. I had my first taste of coffee when I was seventeen and working out of state with my great aunt. She introduced me to coffee and cappuccino. I was mesmerized after the first sip of the steaming, rich flavor.

I had seen numerous advertisements for Gevalia coffee over the years. I don’t know how many offers I received in the mail that were thrown in with other offers I immediately trash. This time, though, I received an actual letter from Gevalia. It included an offer for a free coffee pot with the purchase of two coffees. The two coffees were of my choice, and it would only cost me $10. I had seen a Gevalia coffee pot in my mother-in-laws break room at her salon. She had said she liked the coffee. My coffee pot was on its last leg. So I thought, why not? Instead of filling out the form and mailing it back, I went online and filled everything out. I hoped this would speed up the delivery. I ordered one regular ground French vanilla coffee and one regular ground Mocha coffee.

When my large box arrived, I ripped it open. I was impressed when I removed the large coffee pot. I liked the silver and black colors, and the way they complemented each other. I read the instructions and cleaned the coffee pot so I could try it out. Soon, the house was filled with the aroma of French vanilla coffee brewing. I was eager to see if the taste matched the aroma.

When the Gevalia French vanilla coffee finished brewing, I poured a cup for myself and my husband. I did not add any sugar or creamer. I wanted to experience the natural taste of the coffee. Gevalia says they use only the finest 100% Arabica beans. If it was good, it wouldn’t need any help from me. So, we took a sip of our French vanilla coffee. The coffee was unbelievable. I’ve bought every brand of French vanilla coffee sold in town, and none of them compared to the taste the Gevalia coffee offered. Rich flavor, without any bitterness, and smooth all the way to the last drop. The flavor was perfect. The color was nice and dark. We drank two pots of the French vanilla coffee that afternoon.

The regular ground Mocha coffee is good. French vanilla coffee has always been my favorite, but I do like the Mocha coffee. I just always save it for last. The Mocha has a slight tartness to it. It’s not overwhelming, but it sends my taste buds for a loop. I find myself wanting to add something to smooth out the flavor.

Gevalia offers over 40 coffees and teas. Gevalia offers traditional and flavored teas, green teas, and herbal teas. I have been an herbal tea drinker since my grandma let me try Sleepytime Tea as a child. I have tried one tea that Gevalia offers. It was the Chamomile Dream tea. The caffeine-free tea is perfect for sipping while you are unwinding before bed. I must mention that the first sip left me racking my brain to place the flavor that seemed to sneak up on you. It was pineapple. If you don’t like pineapple, you won’t like this tea.

There are many more flavors for me to eventually try. Gevalia offers seven varieties of roasts and blends, including dark roast and signature blend. There are eight different select varietals to choose from including Columbia and Mocca Java. The European coffeehouse collection offers tastes from France, Vienna, Madrid, and Rome. I will definitely be trying some of these coffees. Gevalia also offers coffee machines, accessories, and gourmet coffee gift baskets. My favorite category will still be the flavorful blends. With nine smooth blends to delight my taste buds, including French vanilla, cinnamon, and amaretto, I will never have to drink boring coffee again.
