Get Paid for Your Old Cell Phones

Cell Phone Reviews, Cellular Phones, For You, Motorola Phones, Phone Calls

I have gone through several different cell phones recently, and whenever I get a new cell phone, I’m left with an older, generally obsolete (or close) model. I didn’t want to just throw these older cell phones away, as they still worked fine, but I didn’t have any use for them. So, when I read an advertisement about a company ‘paying for old cell phones’, I was truly intrigued!

I did my research, through the Internet, and found several companies paying for old cell phones. These companies often refurbish the phones, and sell them to government organizations, or other companies, saving them from becoming wasted technology, despite their age.

PhoneIsCash.Com offers a wide variety of payments for many different types of cellular phones. They also pay for several different types of used iPods, and for PSPs, although they do not pay for every model of iPod out on the market right now. I have used them before, and found them to be quite reliable, although they took a little longer to process my phones I sent in, and mail the check to me, than I would I have liked.

However, I did receive payment from them, and I did save some cell phones from an early death thanks to PhoneIsCash.Com. They do not pay for your shipping costs, but they do pay higher per cell phone (quite a bit higher in some cases!) than the next company, PaceButler.

PaceButler.Com is another popular, and heavily advertised cell phone buyer. They do not pay as high as PhoneIsCash.Com, but they pay for your shipping costs with a prepaid FedEx label. Also, they do not accept iPods or PSPs like PhoneIsCash.Com, but they do pay for a large variety of cell phones. They’ll pay for old Blackberry’s as well, and they pay you via a check in the mail, mailed in a decent amount of time.

I’ve used PaceButler before for my old cell phones as well, and I did not have any problems with them. Having them cover the shipping costs 100% was very nice, but I’ve since started to use PhoneIsCash.Com more, even though they don’t pay for shipping, because they pay higher (at least in some cases) per cell phone or other accepted electronic.

These are just two of the many, many buyers of cellular phones and other techno devices that are around right now. A simple search online through Google or Blingo will reveal many more websites, all clamoring for your old cell phones. Don’t waste an old device, and pollute the environment with it, instead, sell it to one of these previously mentioned companies, or, if you are feeling especially generous, donate it to a charity organization.

Many charities will accept old cell phones, as they have programs setup with companies like PaceBulter to raise money in this manner. Cell phones come and go, especially with the constant demand for newer, better, and fancier cellular devices for the consumer, but you can ensure that your cell phones stays useful by either selling or donating it, avoiding unwanted (and unneeded!) trash in the process.
