First: You nee to find a piece of cardboard approximately two to three feet wide and at least five feet in height. You can easily find a customizable piece of cardboard at your local retail store because retail stores are constantly trying to get rid of their excess cardboard that they have in back from retail food and merchandise stock. They will be more than happy to give you all the cardboard you can carry.

Second: Once you have your cardboard, you will then draw a circle with at least the circumference of a tennis ball at the top of the cardboard using the height of it. Your whole should be approximately five to six inches from the top of the cardboard. This will allow the tennis ball to enter into the whole once rolled.

Third: You will then need to write or draw something exciting just above the whole such as Hit The Whole and Win whatever your prize is. Or draw a picture of a person sticking his or her tongue out at the contestant as they roll the ball trying to hit the whole.

Fourth: Pop the end of the cardboard with the whole up about two feet off the ground with whatever ensuring that it won’t wobble when the ball makes contact with the cardboard.

Fifth: Make a bend all the way across the cardboard where it you want it to meet the ground in order to make a flat surface for the ball to roll on before it gets to the elevation where the whole is located at the top.

Sixth: You will need to make a line where your contestants will be standing approximately directly at the end of the cardboard or one foot away from the edge. Your choice. This will be the standing point of where the contestants will be standing when they attempt to roll the tennis ball onto the cardboard and try to make it into the whole at the top.

Seventh: Once the game starts, you will need to set rules in place that everyone must stand in line and there will be no cutters otherwise they will be out of the game and disqualified from the game.

Once everything is done and set into place, let the games begin ! You can instruct everyone that they must hit the whole and have the tennis enter the whole to win the prize. You must tell them that there is to be no throwing. Only rolling. You can also make the game more interesting by instructing everyone that they must make at least three balls into the whole in order to win the grand prize in order to prolong it.

You can also add other small prizes to the runner ups but don’t make them as extravagant as the grand prize, otherwise the game would be pointless for anyone to try and win.

Have fun with this simple, cheap and fun game that everyone can enjoy with your put together birthday party.
