Free Printable Mazes for Kids

Are you looking for some cheap entertainment for the kids? Do the kids like to work puzzles? If you answered yes to either question, the free printable mazes for kids can be a dream come true for parents.

What Would be the Cheapest Way to Print the Free Printable Mazes for Kids?

The cheapest package of printing paper at Wal-Mart ranges between $3 to $4. A refilled black cartridge for $13 unless you have a coupon it can range from $7 to $10 at Walgreens. At least this is what I have found here at the different Wal-Marts and Walgreens in Kansas for these two items.

For $10 to $17 dollars, you can print five different maze books for kids. Of course it may not cost that much depending on where you get your paper and ink cartridges refilled. This may sound like a bit of money to spend, but if you consider the 300 free mazes to be printed, you will have some of the printer paper left over for another printing project.

Also, consider what you spend that much on for entertainment for your kids in one week or eating out for one meal. As you can see, it’s not that much money to spend to entertain your kids.

I know I have seen some puzzle books for $1 at Wal-Mart, Hobby Lobby, and I think at General Dollar. I haven’t checked Dollar Tree or the Dollar Store for puzzle books. I don’t remember seeing any books with just mazes in them.

You could check with a local family owned printing company to see if you could get any of the paper they would throw away at the end of the day from printing jobs. They may give it to you or sell it to you much cheaper than the cost of a package of printing paper.

The reason I mentioned this is because I worked at a family owned printing company and they would let us take home the unused paper that was used for separating different sections of printed books.

There were also quite a bit of unused white paper that was discarded at the end of chapters and books. I didn’t have to buy the regular size of printing paper until a couple of years ago after having quit this job some five years before that.

What Else can be Done With the Free Printable Mazes for Kids?

Consider using the mazes as a form of quilting a quilt. The mazes can add a unique touch to any quilt you are making. The same can be done with some clothing pieces, table runners, napkins, and placemats.

One other thing when it comes to quilts is the free printable mazes can be transfered to iron-on sheets or traced onto fabric to make a quilt block. The mazes could be embroidered with different colors of threads to make a quilt top.

For parents who homeschool their children, the free printable mazes can be used as a side activity for your kids.
