If you are looking for a free way to entertain your children then you came to the right article! Entertaining the kids can be expensive. Movie tickets are at least six bucks each not to mention soda and popcorn. A parent can easily go broke trying to do something fun with the kids. So what is a parent to do?

Many people are unaware of the completely free workshops open to children and their parents, or grandparents offered through Home Depot and Lowe’s . These workshops are held monthly at Home Depot and bi-monthly at Lowe’s. Kids get to build and create whatever the feature workshop offers and get to bond with their parents. It is definitely a great way to take the kids out and have some fun!

Not only are the workshops fun, but they help crate a sense of accomplishment in kids. How cool is it to build something with Mom, Dad or Grandma and Grandpa? Your kids will have a blast creating wonderful projects. Everything from making wooden tool boxes, trinket boxes, race tracks, wooden race cars and more! Your kids get to take these wonderful crafts home with them and it didn’t take any extra money out of your wallet!

Workshops are typically held on a weekend, so it will most likely be at a time convenient to you without interrupting your work schedule.
