Everyone’s had cream cheese on a bagel, and it’s a good standby. But you can dress up cream cheese in so many ways. You can also serve it on bread as a sandwich or on hot toast. You can serve it on a roll or croissant. You can spread it on a tortilla and roll it up. You can serve it on crackers. You can mix it with a few tablespoons of milk and serve it as a dip for veggies or chips.

Strawberry Cream Cheese

Ingredients:

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/3 cup sliced strawberries

Directions:

In a small dish, mash strawberries with a fork. Add to cream cheese and continue mashing with fork until well-mixed.

Very Berry Cream Cheese

Ingredients:

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/3 cup mixed berries (I like strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries)

Directions:

Puree berries in a blender or food processor. Mix with cream cheese.

Pineapple Coconut Cream Cheese

Ingredients:

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/3 cup crushed pineapple

½ teaspoon pineapple juice (use the juice you drain from the crushed pineapple)

1 tablespoon shredded coconut

Ingredients:

Stir pineapple juice into cream cheese and mix well. Stir in crushed pineapple and shredded coconut.

Apple Pear Cream Cheese

Ingredients:

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

¼ cup diced canned pear

3 tablespoons applesauce

Directions:

Puree diced pears in a blender or food processor. Stir pureed pears and applesauce into cream cheese and mix well.

Vanilla-Almond Cream Cheese

Ingredients:

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 tablespoons slivered almonds

Directions:

Stir vanilla extract into cream cheese and mix well. Stir in almonds.

Honey Walnut Cream Cheese

Ingredients:

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

¼ cup walnuts, chopped

1 ½ tablespoons honey

Directions:

Stir honey into cream cheese and mix well. Stir in walnuts.

Walnut Cranberry Cream Cheese

Ingredients:

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/8 cup walnuts, chopped

1/8 cup dried cranberries

Directions:

Stir walnuts and cranberries into cream cheese and mix well.

Chocolate Hazelnut Cream Cheese

Ingredients:

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 tablespoon chocolate syrup

¼ cup hazelnuts, chopped

Stir chocolate syrup into cream cheese and mix well. Stir in hazelnuts.

Garden Veggie Cream Cheese

Ingredients:

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

2 tablespoons finely diced carrots

2 tablespoons finely diced celery

1 tablespoon finely chopped green onions

Directions:

Stir vegetables into cream cheese and mix well.

Roasted Garlic and Onion Cream Cheese

Ingredients:

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

2 tablespoons finely diced onion

1 teaspoon minced roasted garlic

Directions:

Stir onions and garlic into cream cheese and mix well.

Cucumber Dill Cream Cheese

Ingredients:

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

5 cucumber slices

½ teaspoon fresh dill, finely chopped

Directions:

Puree cucumber in a blender or food processor. Stir cucumber puree and dill into cream cheese and mix well.

Jalapeno Cream Cheese

Ingredients:

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 small jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced

Directions:

Stir jalapeno in to cream cheese and mix well.

Sundried Tomato Cream Cheese

Ingredients:

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

2 tablespoon sundried tomatoes, finely chopped

1/8 teaspoon dried basil

Directions:
